I began this morning with my busy work for the Lord, rewriting good articles about scripture and retelling the scripture over and over, hoping to open people’s eyes and change their lives. Then it dawned on me. The Word has already been spoken by God, written down by men of old, preached on and gone forth from the mouths of good preachers and lives are being changed by the Holy Spirit. I asked myself what is left that needs doing? The answer is, to be an example. I need to live the scripture, be the friend of God, the body of Christ and to live this day that God has given me. I have let many days slip by for the “good” of writing and communicating with people. I've spent few days actually present in the moment with God, at His side, discovering wonders all around me and the hidden messages He speaks only to me (to each one of us individually) within what I find in each moment. What is missing in my life is me. Life is short. The only thing we’ll receive disgrace for in Heaven is in missing the moments with God. Forgive. Enjoy your life. “Be still and know that I Am God.”
