Merry Christmas and God bless you to you and your family,
your church and all on your prayer list.
I apologize for being away from emails and writing for so long. I have had to restructure my life and learn
to completely rely on God. We've been blessed and are continually being blessed, above
every expectation. Thank you Jesus! I'm using the power of free speech (my own
mouth, not the amendment) to speak out God's word and will for me, to command
each day to become what I need. Joyce Meyer pointed out a scripture about little David going
into battle against Goliath and how when the giant approached him, he RAN
TOWARDS the giant speaking words of victory and God's word in scripture and
telling the giant that he was coming in the name of the Lord of hosts and
describing in detail what he was going to do to the giant. Because God’s reputation was put on the line,
and because David’s words lined up with what God had already said (declared as
His will for the Israelites/us), the victory was guaranteed. Praise God! She says we all have giants in our lives and we'd better not
meet ours with our mouths shut or talking mealy mouthed things. Stuff like, “Gee I'm little and that giant
thing is big, I hope this comes out all right.”
We need to say, “Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the
world, and I come in the name of the Lord against this problem, and by His
power and authority I am victorious, and God has this day delivered it into my
hands to be conquered.” We reign with Christ as kings and heirs to God's throne and
all that He has is delivered into Jesus' hands.
All that we need is provided daily and moment by moment by our
Lord. It is His will that we succeed,
and that we are empowered, fed, safe, and grow into the image of Himself by
walking in unconditional love. HUGS!! What great thoughts!
On purpose today I take His thoughts and claim them as my thoughts, and
His mercy and live it as my own mercy towards others. And take His victory, as my own victory,
because He already said it was mine! Like David, I on purpose choose NOT to think of my own
frailty or any of the reasons why I might fail in my own power, but I
concentrate on God’s track record, and His promises and the fact that He cannot
lie! Because I don’t consider anything but what God promised and
His power, I know the victory is mine as well! God is GREAT and greatly to be praised! Make it your mission today to discover what
God promised and speak those words out loud as your personal war cry, your

success. Today I am turning my heart towards children who are
suffering in families that are under attack from all directions. They are stressed and plagued with illnesses
that make them crabby too. But children
need to be shown that they have value, in little ways. They shouldn’t be afraid to answer a parent,
for fear of being struck or slapped, either physically or verbally. Children are subject to all kinds of fears, besides the real ones they hear about
from their parents, they have imagined fear because they don’t yet have any
tools to go into battle with, unless you teach them the Bible stories and show
them how God has used children to rescue nations of people, and give them the
belief that you’d support them and believe in them as they stretch their
spiritual wings. When a grown up pauses to let a child speak. When a grown up answers honestly and
carefully the questions of a child. When
a grown up's face brightens upon seeing the child. These are ways of love that speak much louder
than what you can buy your child, or what education you push them into. It's God's way.
Moment by moment, to live and walk in love and respect for others, and
when your heart is not concerned with your own needs, but wishes only the best
for others - there will be no fear. The
power of fear is broken when you value others enough to value yourself as well,
and walk away from those who would keep you in bondage to chaos, poverty, and self-deprecation
(condemnation or abuse). I say NO to self-mutilation as a response to depression and
anger aimed at us! I also say no to thoughts that are impure and that lower
myself to a level approved of the world but not glorifying God in every thought,
word and deed. I want to tell the world to say NO too, and instead of
turning in on yourself with hate, suicide or fear, say 'Hell NO' because God
Himself died to set me free. I will not
subject myself to bondage again by any man for the purpose of belittling who I
am in Christ. I willingly humble myself in service to mankind, but that's
totally different than self-hate to be in agreement with the unclean spirits
inside of certain people. There is no
shame in having fewer possessions. There
is no glory in having more. The only
legitimate thing to claim glory in is in believing in the Lord Jesus Christ,
and giving Him the credit for all our blessings. There is also good
news from the science community. I
read today that it is now known and proven that our DNA, (our genes) change
daily according to the thoughts that we allow to dominate us. It has already been known that certain genes
(or predisposition to cancer or heart disease etc.), turn on or off, becoming
active or passive depending on such things as stress and moods. Laughter affects 23 genes in a positive way. Stress kills.
Meditation and prayer when done consistently over a few weeks’ time can
alter as many as 1000 of our genes in a positive way and actually contribute to
our healing. God told us this centuries ago. The Bible says laughter is medicine. It tells us to meditate on God’s word and on
every thought that is honest, true and pure, or worthy of passing on. Every uplifting and beautiful thing of nature
plays a part in us having long life in the land God gave us. It’s totally up to us whether we will focus our eyes and
minds on the good or the evil of this world and what we get is exactly what
we’ve asked for by our own actions. We
now have the knowledge in our hands to be stronger, more attractive and more
resilient to the stresses of life. We
can DO something to show our Lord that we want to be wise and good stewards of
our bodies – which are God’s temples to dwell in with us on earth. Merry Christmas 12/23/2010
