Absolutely Safe in God’s Arms Are you swamped with problems right now? Are people turning their backs on you, and
family doing crazy things? God said it
would be like this, but we have to remember that there is a bigger picture here
than just what happens to you. God is trying to work it all out for all of us
at once on the planet. When I get frightened, my sister Eileen tells me that I have
to ask myself these questions: Do you believe there is a God? Do you believe He has a good plan
for your life? (There is a verse where God the Father tells us that He KNOWS
His plan for our lives, that it's all good and not evil.) Then you could ask yourself these questions too. Do you believe that after having
thought you up, designed and predestined you to be born at this moment in time,
and to be saved, to come to know and love Him, and for Him to have planned
every rescue and every supply you would ever need in your life before He even made
the earth in the first place, ... Do you believe He could let this one event
have slipped by His notice and not have something prepared to give you a
blessing with it? We have GOT to come to the knowledge that we are not
separable from God. Once we're IN Him through belief in Jesus, we're infused
with His presence, His power, His essence, His wisdom, and whenever we have a
need, He said all we have to do is ask. He travels with us because He cannot be separated from us.
He lives and feels and experiences everything we do. He is not immune to our
pain, but He cares more for our development than our comfort. We sometimes have
to sacrifice our comfort for the greater goal, which is to become like Him and
to be perfect. I once read a little ditty about a tea cup in a store that
was telling some prospective buyers how much pain it had gone thru to get that
way. It said God had taken some clay and pounded it. It was pounded severely
until it thought it couldn't stand it anymore, and then the pounding stopped
and he had said to God, thank you that I no longer have to be pounded. God
said, you're not ready yet. Then he was put in a kiln and fired and he cried out in his
pain, that he couldn't stand it anymore. God took it out at the proper time,
but said, you're not ready yet. You know the story, how it gets painted and fired again and
finally is ready to be set on display. If we were not always rebelling and doing the wrong things,
God might not have to work on us so much. I don't mean that it is punishment,
but we've come so far from where He intended us to be. We keep messing up and
choosing things that in His word He says not to do. God loves all of these other people we’re interacting with
and having problems with. He wants the best for them too, but He has to
get us to submit completely in faith. Once
we can let go of the outcome in our hearts, and trust completely in Him,
probably all the pain will be over, because we'll be easy to mold into His
image. Jesus promised us that no matter what it is we ask Him for,
if we believe in our hearts that He'll do it for us, we'll have it. The thing
you desire today is only one moment away. A good, long and prosperous life is
God's will and He said just ask me and dare to believe I would give it to you. That's why it takes a lifetime to believe ON Jesus and IN
Jesus for everything. We just don't want to let go and take that leap. It is absolutely safe. I'm speaking to myself right now as
well as to you!! There is NO way on earth or in hell that God would let go of
us. He will never suffer us to fall far and be injured. He will always uphold
us and perfect us IF our desire is to do HIS desire. His desire is something which we know. We are not ignorant
of what God's will is. He wrote it all out in the Bible and put it simply in
the 10 commandments and then Jesus simplified it even more into just 2
commandments. You are blessed to know these things. You are just as much a
Bible scholar as I am. So USE that knowledge you are given, and show God that you
believe His word is true. He cannot lie. He promised believers health,
abundance, safety, well-being and long life as well as eternal life. Then once we know we cannot be separated from God, we have
to decide that we ONLY DESIRE THAT WHICH GOD DESIRES FOR US. That is hard too,
but it is absolutely necessary. Nothing is forbidden to us, Paul said all things are allowed
but not all things are expedient. Not all things will add to our development in
a way that will move us towards the goal. So we have to let God set some
boundaries. He set them in marriage, and to be honest and to forgive others,
and to stop talking bad about others. To want to share, to want to help others
succeed and be happy as much as we want to be happy. If we do those things, we will choose daily the right things
and move in the direction of godliness and contentment. WHAT we choose to do isn't as important as long as it's
right. We could be a tuba player or a race car driver and each is ok. We can live in Colorado or Florida or Timbuktu, as long as
we honor God wherever we live. You know what I mean. So, we look for the things to do that give us passion and
joy, excitement and holy love towards others. THESE are the things we're meant
to do in our lifetime. If you can keep your mind working towards these thoughts, you
will stay out of the enemy's trap of depression, fear and despair. He is a liar! There is no such thing as the bad things he's
worrying you will happen. God has your back. God wants you to succeed. He NEEDS you to
believe that it will be ok, so that He can work. If you don't activate your
faith, you can't receive what God has for you. If you don't start speaking the words that God said He would
do for us, then you aren’t claiming precious gifts that belong to you! YOU have a part to play in this. Humans are co-creators with
God, so GET CREATING what you WANT to happen, instead of what you DON"T
want to happen. When you speak out what you fear might happen, you're
leading your reality into that corner. When you speak out what you WANT to
happen and what you're believing God for, then it leads you into THAT reality. We have a lot of work to do for God. We should be speaking
for ourselves and for others, for our country, for our planet etc. You may not
care about those things for now, but you also have to know that we are all one.
When somebody else suffers, YOU suffer too. When somebody else relapses or
despairs, when the world goes backwards, we all go backwards, because we're all
the SAME PERSON in the spirit. Not that we all have the same mind or soul, but
that God only created ONE man, Adam. We all share Adam's creation and we are
all one, connected in the spirit realm and dependent on one another. We must work to the good of the collective group and then we
will be blessed immensely. I can promise you that all is well. All is as it should be
right now. God has a plan for you and it will be HIS way if you allow it. His way is always better, higher and more rewarding. He
never takes anything from us. It's not Him removing things from us when someone
dies. We're not seeing the bigger picture and that our loved one is not gone.
We're going to be with them again, soon, very soon. If you are grieving or afraid, or going thru hard times, go
to all the churches in your area until you find one that is a believing church,
where people will pray with you, go with you the extra mile to make sure you
have what you need, and uphold you in love and prayer. There are churches like this everywhere. Don’t spend another moment in self-pity. Get yourself up and
get your mind immediately on what you can do for others. A smile, a prayer, a hello, a donation, a sandwich. Whatever
you can turn your thoughts to away from your own self, is what you MUST do.
