Read Deuteronomy Chapter 28:1-68

Verses 1-14 speak of the blessings that will befall people when they hearken (listen) to God and his commandments.

Verses 15 - 68 warn about the ills, disasters and horrible things happening to those who do NOT hearken.

As it was in the days of NOAH so shall it be.  There is building going on, people getting married and life goes on, until the flood came and took them all away.  

Are we living in days of warnings from the Lord? YES. Look around you. We take God out of everything. God is not mocked.  

Here are several verses from Psalm 2.

"Why do the heathen rage and the people imagine a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves and the rulers take council together, against the Lord and against His anointed, saying: Let us break their bands asunder and cast away their cords from us. He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh, the Lord shall have them in derision. (This means total confusion)." 

Society may want to be without God and His leadership but ultimately there is not one soul that can come against God, as He is Almighty (all-powerful) and can do and will do whatever He decides and wants to do. 

America has been a blessed country, a righteous nation. More and more we push God Almighty away, out of the courts, out of schools, out of the pledge, out of everything. 

Did you hear some lady senator or some lady in government position several days ago say something to this effect (on Fox) : "As soon as we get rid of the evangelicals, we need to be rid of them!"

It is the Christians that hold the tide back yet they want to be rid of us!

A nation who's God is the Lord is blessed. Push Him away more and more and see what happens. Yes, we all jump in and help in disasters such as Katrina and now possibly another even bigger one to make landfall in a day or so. How long will help be available to give? How many more disasters will it take before the coffers are empty? Will this be a mighty nation no more? How terribly sad. Our forefathers are groaning in their graves so to speak. 

Did you ever read George Washington's vision? You can search for it and read it. 

Yes, Christians believe the Word of God, the Holy Bible, written by God-inspired Holy men of God. The Jewish Nation - so persecuted and undermined - brought the Word, (and out of their loins came our Savior Jesus) faithfully recording the details of Bible history so the generations would have the wonderful result of those tedious recordings.

There are many today who totally neglect the Bible, question its roots, etc. FOOLS.

How shall we escape when we neglect so great salvation? Hebrews 2:3a 

A Fool has said in his heart, there is no God but wise men still seek Him today.

Go on, O nations and people, do your own thing, build your own tower of Babel. Live with great wickedness and be sure that you will be rewarded accordingly.  Push away God.

(Funny, huh, when there is a disaster, people will pray. Remember after 9-11, the senators and all leaders in great church services and on the steps of important government buildings, praying and crying...how soon they forget!)

But do not bring the ten commandments in schools or courtrooms.... we may step on some peoples' toes who want to live like heathen and in perverse ways. Go ahead, Do not allow prayer, for goodness sake, our children may become "brainwashed" and become Christians and want to live right and read the Bible!!!!   O what a foolish generation. 

I pray for every Christian in this nation to be able to withstand the tides of evil. To read the Word and be blessed by God Almighty, the ruler of Heaven and earth. May we praise Jesus His beloved Son who came to earth and did many wonderful things, and who gave His life for us, so sinners who believe in HIM, can be saved and have eternal life and never have to be lost and go to hell.  

Yes, there is such a place. People say sometimes hell is now. Please, give me a break!  This is nothing, no matter what happens here, it is NOT HELL.  

Stay away from, and come against the evil that is trying to penetrate this wonderful nation of ours, and the whole world actually, stay away from serving other gods and from alternate lifestyles and all that idiotic way if living. Pray for peace and goodness. 

Some religions worship the moon, or cows, or personalities who had some sort of spiritual experience and became AS gods..... Let us serve the LIVING and ONLY God.

God says: I am the Lord and beside Me there is none else! 

God is calling upon HIS people to turn away from their wicked ways (including all of us) and to cry out to HIM and pray and He may just be in the mood to be true to Himself and turn things around. 

Turning around will not happen if the people continue to stray further and further from the very source that gave them life!

Yes, we Christians are despised, because the people want a lawless life, without any laws from God, to do as one feels he or she wants to do, without accountability to God Almighty. 

So, to sum it up:

• Serve the Lord with gladness.

• Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path.

• This is the way, walk ye in it.

• Jesus said: "Follow ME. I am the light of the world, He who follows me shall not walk in darkness".

• Last but not least: Hope is the anchor of the soul.
